“If I told you my story
You would hear hope, that wouldn’t let go
And if I told you my story
You would hear love that never gave up
And if I told you my story
You would hear life, but it wasn’t mine

If I should speak, then let it be of the grace
That is greater than all my sin
Of when justice was served, and where mercy wins!
Of the kindness of Jesus, that draws me in
Oh to tell you my story, is to tell of Him

If I told you my story, you would hear victory
Over the enemy
And if I told you my story, you would hear freedom
That was won for me
And if I told you my story, you would hear life
Overcome the grave”
(Lyrics from “My Story”)

This truly is my story: one of hope (restored) & love (received) as well as one of victory and freedom – all because of HIM.
With this week being National Eating Disorders Awareness Week, I hope to share of the hope, healing, and harmony that is found in Christ.

Yes, in Him, regardless of how bad it seems now, how hard it feels today, and how little hope one may currently have, there is ALWAYS hope for the present, healing from the past, and harmony for the future.

Harmony simply means peace, internal calm (which is something I never could have imagined having), or bringing different things together into one.  It truly is possible for different parts of our past to be woven together into one  – one story – for His glory.

It is my greatest desire to point any who are struggling to the One who is all loving, ever faithful, and forever present, right here and right now.  In the heartache.  In the fight.  And in the hopelessness.  There IS hope.  There IS healing.  Harmony IS possible.

“If anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”  (2 Corinthians 5:17)
